Extended an existing Node.js backend with a Rust-based AI agent (Axum + Tokio + Rig) to provide an LLM-powered product search chatbot and an autonomous comment moderation engine. Designed and implemented Valkey Flow, an async distributed message queue using Redis Streams and Consumer Groups with XACK acknowledgment to enforce reliable processing (zero message loss verified by CI). Integrated the Rust agent and queueing layer alongside the production services.
Backend Developer (Contract) — Freelancer at Freelancer

Delivered production e-commerce platforms end to end using Node.js, TypeScript, and GraphQL (Yoga) with PostgreSQL (Drizzle ORM). Designed relational schemas and built CRUD resolvers and DB-indexed search/filtering. Integrated Stripe Checkout with secure webhook-driven fulfillment and automated status transitions. Implemented Clerk JWT authentication with role-based access control and ownership-protected mutations. Added Redis caching with TTL and mutation-triggered invalidation, and used Redis Pub/Sub with Socket.io for real-time features. Wrote E2E and integration tests (Playwright, Vitest, Supertest).
