Hello, I’m Genevieve, an interior designer based in Pennsylvania and the founder of GE.BÉ atelier. My work spans residential, hospitality, and commercial environments, with a strong focus on creating spaces that feel both intentional and alive. I’ve led projects from concept through execution, developing floor plans, material strategies, and immersive design directions that balance creativity with real-world functionality. My background is somewhat unconventional. I spent over two decades as a circus artist working on major international productions and some of the world’s largest stages, including Cirque du Soleil, top opera houses, and television productions across multiple countries, including the U.S. I later expanded into roles as an artistic director and acrobatic designer, working across TV shows, films, commercials, and large-scale live productions. I’m also very comfortable collaborating within production and creative teams, which has strengthened my ability to communicate ideas clearly, adapt quickly, and contribute within fast-paced, multidisciplinary environments. This experience deeply shaped how I approach space. I think in terms of movement, rhythm, and how people experience an environment from within, not just how it looks from the outside. Through my studio, I’ve transformed a range of spaces into cohesive, high-impact environments that support both function and atmosphere. I’m very comfortable working within tight timelines and defined budgets, and I approach constraints as part of the creative process rather than a limitation. What sets me apart is my ability to take a raw or industrial shell and turn it into something warm, human, and immersive, while maintaining a strong design identity. The “Alpine Industrial” direction with subtle old Hollywood influences is exactly the kind of layered narrative I enjoy developing, especially given my background in visual storytelling and production environments.
