Earlier in my career I won first prize at the Stockholm Berwald Hall in 2000 and earned a top-ten position in the Masterprize International Composing Competition with Ve i l s, which has been performed by the Gothenburg Symphony, Royal Stockholm Philharmonic and other major orchestras. Ve i l s has received radio airplay around the world. In 2013 I was named ‘Composer of Spring’ at Berwald Hall, with a portrait concert featuring the premiere of Caprism for clarinet. The following years saw successful premieres of Abrasax for soprano saxophone with the Jönköping Sinfonietta (2017) and Eclipse for violin with Camerata Nordica (2018). I have collaborated extensively with ensembles such as the Nordic Chamber Orchestra and Malmö Symphony Orchestra, and my works Through Fire and Water and Tableau vivant have been performed to widespread acclaim. I continue to compose celebrated chamber and choral works and look forward to new collaborations.
