I have used the computer as an art tool dating back to the early 1980s, and I have been captivated by the artistic potential of software and digital photography. I have worked as an art director, consultant/instructor, and chairperson for 15 years, and I continue to be a full-time art professor while freelancing as a designer and creating and exhibiting my fine art. With traditional fine arts training behind me, I embraced computer graphics as my primary medium—freelance design, remote design agency projects, and education-focused work. I have taught computer graphics for educators at Westfield State University and at Lesley College, earned a Doctorate of Education in 1993, and my digital work has been published and exhibited internationally, including Prix Ars Electronica, calendars from Delta Informatics in Athens, Greece, and references in The Encyclopedia of Living Artists, among others.
