Nicole Rodrigues

Trained students ranging from Year 5-7 on public speaking and speech writing. Also delivered a speech discussing the effectiveness of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in mitigating global issues around the world.

Initiated and organized my school's first charity fashion show recruiting over 80 students across Hong Kong to participate as designers, models, advertisers, logistics and backstage teams. Show featured the designs of 5 local Hong Kong designers. Over HKD 15,000 was raised and donated to support the mission of Hong Kong's Justice Centre.

Attended lectures on human rights in common law jurisdictions, asylum-seeking processes in Hong Kong and courtroom techniques such as conducting legal research, witnessing testimony and cross-examination. Part of the course included a human rights-based mock trial, which I participated in and won.
