I’m Sophie Costa, a textile and fashion designer with a passion for prints, textiles, and cohesive collections. I specialize in textile design, print development, and the integration of knitwear and textiles with modern fashion aesthetics. Over the past years I have worked with Undiz, De Groote France, and as a freelance designer, developing mood boards, color palettes, and technical specs, while coordinating with production and styling teams. I’m fluent in French and English, with Spanish as a working language, and I love shaping vivid, market-ready collections from concept to product.
As a menswear designer at MCS France, I was responsible for creating the collections.
This involved everything from designing mood boards and colour palettes based on trends and the brand’s DNA, to creating garment designs (flat patterns), selecting fabrics from suppliers, preparing technical specifications for the collection’s launch in factories, and overseeing production directly at the supplier’s premises.
As a textile designer for the loungewear brand Undiz (France), I created numerous all-over and placed patterns. I was fortunate enough to work with brands such as Disney, Hello Kitty and Ford, as well as designing my own patterns.
Responsible for textile design, creating prints and textiles for Undiz collections; coordination with design team.
