JUAN JOSÉ GONZÁLEZ SÁNCHEZ I am a graphic designer specializing in 3D image generation and effects. I began working in the industry in 1991 at ATANOR, where I participated in the creation of opening sequences for TV programs such as 30 Minutos, Qué Apostamos, the corporate identity for Telemadrid, and PinNic, the latter of which won an award at the European synthetic image festival IMAGINA. In 1995, I joined the 3D team at MOLINARE, where I did my first advertising work, with campaigns for Ray-Ban, Citroën, Movistar, Coca-Cola, Loewe, and others. I also began my first forays into film, creating title sequences for movies such as "El amor perjudica seriamente la salud" (Love Seriously Damages Your Health) and "Airbag" by Juanma Bajo Ulloa. Between 1998 and 2001, I worked at ANIMADOS, a company belonging to GLOBOMEDIA, as coordinator of the 3D team responsible for creating the digital sets for the TV series DEFENSOR 5, one of the first series generated entirely in 3D in Spain. From 2001 to 2012, I coordinated the 3D department at MOLINARE/IMASBLUE, where I worked on projects for Coca-Cola, Repsol, Toyota, Vodafone, Campofrío, El Corte Inglés, Verti, Renault, and the 2011 Casera campaign, directed by Javier Fesser, which has been included in the permanent audiovisual collection of the Reina Sofía Museum. In the film industry, I have worked as a 3D team coordinator on feature films such as: November, The Great Life, The Secret Life of Words, Off Menu, Illuminated by Fire, Warriors, Camino, and The Sad Trumpet Ballad, winner of the Goya Award for Best Special Effects. From 2015 to 2020, I taught 3D at the ESDIP art school in Madrid and supervised and directed lighting and shading for some of the animated shorts produced there: Just the Beginning, Patches, and Blue & Malone, Impossible Cases, winner of the 2021 Goya Award for Best Animated Short Film. From 2020 to 2023, I worked as a senior artist in the effects department at Free Your Mind, contributing to two TV series and six feature films. Between 2023 and 2025, I worked as a content coordinator specializing in CGI, creating and designing online courses for ECAM (the Madrid Film School). Currently, I produce 3D content for visual effects and develop experimental and artistic generative imagery projects in my own studio. I also teach, always within the creative field and related to new technologies.
