I am Gizem Karakaş Kılıç, a biologist and arachnologist with nearly a decade of spider taxonomy research, including a master's thesis that described 12 new species within Dysderinae and a PhD project on the phylogeny and taxonomy of the Dysdera genus in the Aegean region. Although funding constraints paused the doctoral work, I remain passionate about integrating taxonomy with ecology and molecular biology to address complex biological questions. I hold a biology degree from Hacettepe University, have worked in the Ecological Sciences Research Laboratory (ESRL) with Prof. Bülent Alten, and gained substantial fieldwork experience. I bring over 10 years of Clinical Research Associate experience, including study start-up, initiation visits, qualification visits, close-out visits, and routine monitoring, with exposure to RDC and RBQM.
