I’m Francesco Capanni, aka Capacity, a producer, multimedia composer, and electronic musician. I studied Electronic Music at Saint Louis College of Music in Rome and Film Scoring at the Conservatory of Bologna, and I interned with Marek Chołoniewski at the Conservatory of Kraków. Today I lecture at Saint Louis College of Music in Milan and work as a dataset music designer for MUSI-CO (NL). I also collaborate with Fonoprint Studios in Bologna. Over the years I've built a practice that folds club-oriented electronics with soundtrack composition and traditional sound sources. I've scored documentaries like Corpi Mutanti, created music for multimedia installations with X-Plosiva and Field A1, and performed across projects such as Abèh, Gliese 581, BBQ, and Sans Brass Architectures. Since 2024 I’ve been touring with Miglio, and in 2025 I won a Soundtracks – Musica da Film call from Centro Musica di Modena, touring with mentors Enrico Gabrielli and Whitemary. I’m also the producer/arranger of Levia Gravia by Esera, and in 2026 I released CAMEO HD as Capacity.
