Hakan Kucukmert

Hi, I’m Hakan. I’m a Istanbul-based Director of Photography with a track record of shooting across short films, music videos, fashion campaigns, and commercials. I’ve contributed to over 100 productions, collaborating with agencies and production companies to craft visually compelling stories. I thrive in dynamic environments and pride myself on lighting design, camera movement, and strong storytelling through imagery.

Currently, I’m the Director of Photography at Proba Media, producing commercial and digital content for brands and companies. I began as a freelance DP, building a broad portfolio and working with clients like Mercedes-Benz, Allianz, Epson, Nikon, and more. I continuously refine my craft in cinematography, lighting techniques, and post-production to deliver polished visuals that align with brand goals.
