I'm a director and screenwriter from Moscow, currently based in Armenia. I studied at VGIK – Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography, the largest Russian film institute, and have directed three prize-winning short films. My short film The Flight collected over 20 million views on social networks and was presented at Capalbio Cinema in Italy. I’ve also directed three documentaries that won awards at many festivals and were shown on central television channels. In theatre, I directed twelve plays in Russian and Armenian theatres, including works by Davyd Lynch and Martin McDonagh; the play The Premium-class Love has been successfully staged for more than seven years.
