paper The Girl Who Played With Wind (A Menina Que Brincava Com o Vento)

This project showcases the complete editorial development and book layout for “The Girl Who Played with the Wind” (A Menina que Brincava com o Vento). The design strategy was focused on creating a visual rhythm that mirrors the story’s poetic nature, balancing white space with expressive typography to ensure a fluid and engaging reading experience for a young audience.
The layout was meticulously crafted to establish a clear distinction between the character’s mundane reality and her vibrant imaginary world. This was achieved through a strategic use of grids and a carefully selected color palette that shifts in tone to reflect the narrative’s emotional arc, transitioning from the cool, isolated atmosphere of winter to the warmth of the protagonist’s creative escapes.
In addition to the page composition, the project involved high-fidelity digital retouching and image processing to ensure visual consistency across the entire work. The final result is a sophisticated editorial piece that prioritizes clarity, aesthetic elegance, and a deep emotional connection between the text and the visual elements.
