I’m Marek Posival, a film and TV producer/writer with more than two decades of experience shaping award-nominated projects across Hallmark, Lifetime, SyFy, and theatrical features. I lead teams from development through delivery, guiding projects with a collaborative, creator-focused approach. I thrive on strong partnerships with networks, studios, and production crews to craft warm, entertaining stories that resonate with audiences.
My training includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts Honours in Film/Video Production from York University and a Graduation Diploma in Theatre from the Prague/Czech Conservatory. Highlights of my career include producing Water (2004), which earned an Oscar nomination and multiple Genie nominations, and building a track record of award-winning TV movies and series in North America.
