Flowers at Princess Ecaterina Caradja Cantacuzino’s Castle is a deeply evocative documentary episode exploring the life, memory, and legacy of Ecaterina Caradja Cantacuzino — a remarkable historical figure often called “the Princess of Hearts” for her humanitarian courage during the Second World War.

The film reconstructs the emotional and historical universe surrounding her forgotten residence, transforming an abandoned architectural space into a living testimony of dignity, sacrifice, and cultural identity. Through archival research, on-site documentation, and narrative reconstruction, the episode reconnects audiences with a chapter of European history that risks disappearing from collective memory.

At the center of the storytelling stands a distinctive narrative voice that guides viewers through history not as distant observers, but as witnesses to a rediscovered human legacy.

I serve as the voiceover narrator of the episode, shaping its emotional rhythm and interpretative depth. My narration bridges historical fact and personal reflection, allowing the audience to experience heritage as a living presence rather than a static monument. Over time, my voice has become recognisable to the audience of Flori la Castel, functioning as the emotional signature of the series.

Beyond narration, I am the producer of the episode, overseeing the project end-to-end: historical research, narrative concept development, scripting, casting, production coordination, filming supervision, editorial validation, musical direction, and public release strategy. Every creative and strategic decision — from field documentation to audience communication — was conceived and led under my direction.

This episode exemplifies the core mission of Flori la Castel: transforming abandoned heritage into cultural consciousness through storytelling, cinematic sensitivity, and public engagement. Please see here the entire project https://www.twine.net/signin
