I’m Richard Michos—a guitarist and music producerk with over 20 years of teaching and performing locally and internationally. I earned a BA in music composition and technology from UC San Diego and completed a Berklee College of Music summer intensive in guitar, bass, and recording engineering (1988). Currently, I teach guitar, bass, ukulele, and beginning piano at Blue Bear School of Music and Inspire Music in San Francisco, and I run a studio at the Music Store in West Portal, where I work with a wide range of clients and projects. My career spans performing, recording, and producing for artists like Georges Lammam and Riffat Sultana, leading the world music group Shabaz, and collaborating with Narada Michael Walden.
