Molly Finlay

I’m Molly Finlay, an Edinburgh-based broadcaster with experience reading BBC Scotland radio bulletins for flagship programmes including Radio Scotland Breakfast, Lunchtime Live, Drivetime and The Sunday Show. I’m adept at audio editing and recording, comfortable working with technical broadcast teams or self-operating, and I have a clear, smooth Scottish (Edinburgh) accent with the ability to adapt pace, pitch and tone to fit the brief. Ability to utilise emotional range.

I’m a versatile journalist who writes, presents, pitches and produces original stories across politics, breaking news and current affairs. I turn stories into engaging audio and video content, conduct interviews (including high-profile conversations), and host, present and produce podcasts. I’m experienced across social media, with strong editorial judgment and a commitment to Ofcom compliance.
