I was the apprentice of Ernesto de la Paz Perez, a cuban painter for 4 years before leaving Cuba. With him I learned academic drawing, art history and sculpture in my formative years. Upon arrival to the United States I began studying painting and drawing in high school. In college I did an extended minor in visual arts as well, where I had the opportunity to do medical illustration as well due to my pre med background. Happy to share my portfolio upon request
