I am an energetic and hardworking artist who would like to be considered for the Motion Graphic Designer Position. I hold a BA in Digital Animation & Video Editing and an AA in Graphic design. I took General Education courses at College of the Desert. My passion, in my spare time, is drawing, playing guitar and training in the latest innovative software. With my current employer I work a lot with all the Creative Cloud software and Cinema 4D. I was employed with The Desert Sun Newspaper in Palm Springs, CA for 10 years as a Graphic Designer. My primary duty was to design ads for businesses such as restaurants, real estate agencies, and car dealerships. I worked closely with clients as well as sales reps, and held a stellar reputation amongst colleagues and my employer as the “go to guy” in providing support with technical issues and whose loyalty and attendance was exemplary. I currently work at Casino Morongo Resort & Spa as a Graphic/Motion Designer. My responsibilities entail producing video clips, designing menus, promotional mailers, postcards, and posters. After Effects, Live Type, Quark, In Design, Photoshop and Illustrator are among the programs I utilize in producing these and have recently introduced the department to After Effects plug-in 3D Zaxwerks. Over the last couple of months I was involved with implementing flash files and actionscripting that are displayed on slot machines advertising promo, events, ect to inform slot players on what’s happening around the casino. Not only would I have to design content, I would have to know the system to upload the content to. Bally's coolsign, Janus is the software that we would have to set triggers and schedule content. For the outdoor pylon we use a url system named Daktronics. My desire is to work with people who can enhance my talents in all these areas.
