Hi, I’m Karen, a linguist and translator specializing in perfume branding. I’ve spent over a decade in the fragrance industry, helping brands craft multilingual scent stories and messaging that resonate across cultures. My work blends linguistic nuance with brand strategy to support fragrance labeling, marketing, and communications for diverse markets.

In addition to translation, I’m an amateur perfumer who has created and marketed my own fragrance. I regularly participate in fragrance gatherings and events, and I enjoy bridging cross-cultural communication with product branding to connect brands with global audiences. I’m based in Valencia and thrive on turning linguistic insight into compelling brand experiences.

I have also been a photographer for more than 8 years, not only taking pictures and editing them, but also shooting creative reels and doing the color grading of those clips. One of my favorite parts of the editing process is the sound design, when after hours of browsing the internet you find the perfect music or sound effect which matches the mood and the vibe of the video.

Lastly, I believe that optimizing the clip for a specific social media platform is the key to quality content. I make sure that the export setting are selected correctly to maximize the quality in the mentioned platform.
