James Windham

Hi, I’m James Windham—a composer and music producer with 20+ years writing, producing, and scoring original music. My work tends toward dark, cinematic and heavy textures, built for projects that carry emotional weight and intention. I thrive on music that supports storytelling, whether it’s a band record, a film score, or a sync placement.

I founded Hyper Muse Studios and collaborate with artists and brands to deliver original scores, sound design, and sonic branding, bringing a strategic, brand-aware approach to each project and a comfort with visual storytelling.
