I am Luc Louis de Lairesse, a choreographer and director with a lifetime of experience in theater, dance and screen. From an early ballet career as a soloist and later principal dancer to leading international productions, I have crafted movement for stage and television around the world, collaborating with legendary performers and institutions. My work spans live performance, television, and film, and I have built a practice that blends artistry with education, humanitarian outreach, and mentorship for dancers and actors alike. I have founded and directed pioneering initiatives such as Dance for your Life, the first European AIDS fundraiser gala, and I have led workshops across Europe and the USA (including programs like Healing the Dancer in Santa Fe). I have also created platforms for education and cultural exchange, including PACT-Tibet and UNESCO-related projects, while serving as editor and writer for DansDanse. Throughout my career I have collaborated with a wide network of artists, institutions, and humanitarian organizations to advance the arts and the well-being of artists worldwide.

Anatomy of a Star- studded dance.

After a 50+year long career as a choreographer/director/ballet master & principal dancer, working with leading, legendary artists in dance/opera/theater/film industry, it’s time to write (the truth and nothing but…) of a world that tells fairy-tales, creates beauty and often awareness through the many artists (like myself) who are more than often abused when the goal is the big career. This author didn’t oblige and that journey is an intense and colorful one, crossing bridges of polite refusal to the private and secretive meetings required to reach the top. I will say better topless, because as perfection, happiness is an illusion if based on superficial, (even) well-marketed or privately bought fame. (here is last year’s announcement of the journalistic, personal and unique novel being written as we speak. Looking for investors and possible lovers of the arts (all) to help produce this special work of truth as a book, a TV-series, a film! Thanks
