Lynda-Marie Taurasi

I am an award-winning audio producer, radio journalist, and communications leader with extensive experience delivering high-quality podcast, radio, and audio content from concept to completion. My background spans BBC Radio Scotland, BBC Radio 4, MTV Radio, American broadcast radio, podcasts for higher education, B2B, and international communications, combining editorial excellence with strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.

Most recently, I led the end-to-end development of Heriot-Watt University’s Shaping the Future podcast series, overseeing production, scriptwriting, project management, guest coordination, and marketing. The series featured senior university leaders discussing sustainability, innovation, and global impact, with the premiere episode, Shaping the Future of Global Education, debuting in the top 25% of podcasts. Alongside this, I developed and produced the inaugural module of the University’s Climate Advocacy Course, creating a minimum viable product for a flagship sustainability programme.

As a freelance radio journalist and producer for BBC Radio Scotland and BBC Radio 4, I have contributed to flagship programmes including Sunday Morning with…, Today, Broadcasting House, and the final season of Our Lives with Michelle McManus. My work has involved researching stories, developing editorial concepts, scripting, interviewing contributors, producing audio features, and delivering compelling content to broadcast standards.
