My passion for interior design began in childhood, inspired by my late father’s love of design and his history. I spent summers and after-school hours in his upholstery studio, organizing fabrics, making buttons, and exploring color and texture — experiences that shaped my appreciation for detail, craftsmanship, and materials. I earned a BFA in Interior Design from the International Academy of Design and Technology, where I developed a strong foundation in spatial planning, color theory, materials, furniture design, and project documentation. I further advanced my expertise with an M.A. in Historic Preservation from the University of Colorado, focusing on adaptive reuse, conservation techniques, and historically sensitive design strategies. My formal education provided both the creative and technical skills to execute complex design projects with precision and vision. Since graduation, I've applied these skills across Denver, Los Angeles, and Atlanta, contributing to a wider range of residential and commercial projects, including hotels, night clubs, retail spaces, and historic properties. With a love of travel and a deep understanding of architectural styles—from traditional to contemporary—I bring a distinct, thoughtful approach to every space I design, blending functionality, aesthetics, and respect for history. Thank you for considering my application. I welcome the opportunity to contribute my skills and experience to your design team and look forward to speaking with you.
