My artwork—paintings and illustrations have been exhibited continuously in New York, Los Angeles, London, and Paris, though much of it has also been left scattered in less traditional spaces, graffitied on the backs of hotel art and wherever I happened to pass through. I paint as I live, and I live as I paint. In 1997, I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, and I am now recuperating through a commitment to simple living. My life has always been intertwined with the arts in one form or another. In the 1990s, I ran Hellcat Records, a subsidiary of Epitaph, and later toured with the off-Broadway show *Stomp*, selling merchandise while continuing to leave art in my wake. Throughout it all, I have followed my own creative expression while honoring other artists and learning from them. In Taos, I assisted and directed artists and served as an art director for several galleries. My life’s work is dedicated to helping creatives find their voice and clearing a path for that expression to be heard. My work has a wide emotional and visual range—it can be light, playful, and childlike, or dark, heavy, and mournful, and everything in between. Whatever form it takes, it is rooted in a depth and honesty that is rarely seen. My work is also, in many ways, musical. Whether bright and whimsical or deep and somber, it seems to sing—carrying a rhythm, a movement, a kind of visual sound.
