    MEdiNSPAIN project

    https://www.twine.net/signin
The general objective of the MEDINSPAIN project is to accelerate the optimization of resources and the use of waste from the production of batteries and end-of-life batteries, for their reuse in second life, and for the extraction of critical materials (lithium, cobalt, nickel and graphite), for the supply of raw material for the manufacture of materials for new batteries, molten salts for thermal storage and the preparation of fried by the ceramic industry. MEDINSPAIN’s ambition is to achieve the development of pre-industrial solutions at the pilot level on a key aspect of the value chain of recycling of all types of batteries, as well as the safe automation of the sorting, unloading and disassembly processes that today are carried out manually. MEDINSPAIN also contemplates the concept of direct recycling beyond the mechanical and pyro-hydrometallurgical processes of high carbon footprint. MEDINSPAIN contemplates the creation of a new generation of digital passports to allow the traceability of each process and product.
