First frontend engineer on the platform. Established frontend architecture and technical direction from the ground up, documented decisions in ~12 Architecture Decision Records. Built the product using React, TypeScript, Zustand, and Vite (8 pages, 3 workflows, role-based access control) on top of 5–6 Spring Boot microservices. Designed API contracts for endpoints, schemas, filtering, sorting, pagination, and error handling to keep frontend and backend work parallel. Built an organisation-wide frontend platform (35+ reusable components, semantic design tokens with light/dark modes, Storybook, accessibility/testing, versioning, contribution guidelines, and CI quality gates) adopted by 3 product teams (~15–20 engineers). Improved standards via architecture reviews, stricter linting, CI/CD improvements, and mentoring.

Led frontend rearchitecture to migrate legacy OneShell directly into Microsoft 365 Copilot Search, owning rendering, caching, telemetry, state management, and performance, and coordinating backend integration across platform teams. Shipped to 130M+ daily active users, improving engagement (+15%) and reducing load time (~30%). Co-designed Viva Goals frontend platform architecture using an Nx monorepo with modular packages and independent feature ownership (20+ engineers shipping without blocking). Wrote and drove adoption of three architecture RFCs across 100+ engineers, including a revamped rendering pipeline for 100,000+ hierarchical OKRs, viewport-based Azure Pub/Sub subscriptions, and a React-Angular interoperability bridge for incremental migration. Served as primary frontend owner during production incidents, including RCA and postmortems.

Architected server-side rendering for a property search experience used by millions of users, using Vue, Nuxt, Node, and GraphQL. Improved SEO and Time To First Byte, and reduced data-fetch latency by ~30%.
