For three years I was Creative Director at SquashSkills and the PSA World Tour, where I owned the shoot calendar and ran productions independently — planning and directing shoots solo, filming and directing hundreds of interviews with contributors under real pressure, and editing every project through to finished delivery, with colour, sound and titles all done by me. Within that role I also shot and produced content for two online courses on SquashSkills’s e-learning platform, planning the course structure and delivering video built specifically for upload into a web-based learning system — so I understand what “made for online learning” actually means in practice, not just in theory. I’ve also filmed in a clinical setting, shooting private-sector content for Dental Partners, where confidentiality and professionalism weren’t optional extras but the whole job. And I’ve worked in genuinely sensitive circumstances before — one of my documentaries was completed after its subject passed away, made with the full trust of his family and club during a real loss. That’s taught me how to be in a room with people who aren’t used to being filmed, put them at ease, and come away with something honest and usable. Alongside that I’ve shot commercial and campaign content for brands including Unilever (Flora, Knorr and Lipton), Oska Fashion (an ongoing client since 2022), SquashLevels and Worldwide Cancer Research, and co-directed a branded documentary for Orvis from concept through to delivery. What ties all of it together is the same thing: I can be trusted to run a shoot alone, in an environment where the people in front of the camera matter more than the camera itself, and deliver something the client can actually use. I’m based in Bristol, know the area well, and I’m happy travelling across Bristol, Gloucestershire and the surrounding region.
