Omid Baharvand (b. 1989, Iran) is a Rome-based sound and visual artist and composer of electronic and electro-acoustic music. His work blends ambient, noise, and contemporary practices, moving from conceptual research and sound-material collection to texture exploration, structural experiments, and final production. Inspired by nature and human experiences, he investigates how we perceive the world and respond to stimuli—expressing these interactions through real-time audio-visual systems. He actively develops site-specific and immersive sound environments, audiovisual installations, and experimental electronic works, and is currently expanding into EP creation, live video mapping, and game sound design (FMOD/Wwise).
