My career in film making and editing started after I had completed my Bachelor’s degree in Film Science at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark and spent a year as a graduate student at the Film department at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, WI. In my career I have edited everything from branded content and commercials to long and short form documentaries. And since 2015 I have been able to combine my editing work with making soccer documentary productions for Danish TV station TV2. In 2016 a soccer documentary I edited, directed and produced won the Best Documentary prize at Hamilton Film Festival and in 2017 a documentary short video I edited for Vice Media won the James Beard Award for Best Video Webcast. In my previous position at AL Media I was responsible for editing content for Democratic midterm candidates. I collaborated with directors, producers and production teams to make sure the finished videos were as dynamic and persuasive as possible. This experience combined with my previous editing experience in Premiere Pro has made me an expert at editing both documentary short form and long form content. I have invaluable experience directing, producing and editing soccer documentaries where I have been involved in all aspects from development, filming and editing to color grading and mixing. As a seasoned creative TV and Video editor and experienced documentary filmmaker I feel my skills and expert knowledge of documentary film making and editing would be a big asset to your company.
