I’m a Computer Systems and AI/Machine Learning student at BCIT, building projects that connect game logic, search-based AI, and modern web development. I enjoy turning technical ideas into working systems—whether that’s generating legal move states for a board game or designing agents that can make decisions under time constraints. I also like collaborating and shipping usable experiences, from a food-knowledge web app that lets users post and browse helpful health-related content to team projects that combine clear UI work with solid backend logic. With skills in Python, Java, and JavaScript, plus tools like Git and Agile, I’m focused on developing AI-ready software and learning how to apply data and algorithms effectively.

Work Experience

Team Project Member - Abalone Game (AI Agent & Move Engine) at BCIT Team Project 2
February 1, 2026 - May 31, 2026
Developed an Abalone game from scratch with a team of three. Built the UI and implemented a move engine that functions as a state-space generator: it reads an input file with the player to move and the current marble positions, then outputs a new board configuration for each legal move from that state. On top of the move engine, created an AI agent that selects moves efficiently using iterative deepening, minimax, and alpha-beta pruning with a limited decision time. The overall solution combines game-state modeling, algorithmic search, and time-bounded move selection.

Built an Abalone game from scratch with a team of three. The project started with creating the user interface, then developing a move engine that generates the state-space: it reads an input describing whose turn it is and the current marble positions, and outputs the new board configuration for each legal move from that state. On top of the move engine, an AI agent was implemented using iterative deepening, minimax, and alpha-beta pruning to select moves efficiently under a time limit. The overall goal was to combine clean game logic with a strong adversarial search approach for real gameplay.

February 1, 2026 - May 1, 2026
As part of a three-person team, I helped develop an Abalone game from scratch. We built the UI first, then created a move engine that generates legal board states by treating the game progression as a state-space problem. The move engine reads an input describing which player moves and the current marble positions, and outputs the updated board configuration for each legal move. On top of that, we built a custom AI agent using iterative deepening, minimax, and alpha-beta pruning to select moves efficiently within a limited time budget.

In a team of three, I helped build an Abalone game from scratch by creating the UI and implementing a move engine that generates next board states from an input describing the player and marble positions. On top of the move engine, we built an AI agent to select legal moves efficiently under time constraints, using iterative deepening, minimax, and alpha-beta pruning. I worked with the game logic to ensure correct state-space generation and reliable move selection behavior.
Team Project Member - Nutri-Guard Web App at BCIT Team Project 1
January 1, 2025 - April 30, 2025
Collaborated with a team of three to build Nutri-Guard, a web application that helps users share food knowledge related to health conditions. Implemented core user flows including posting food images and descriptions, browsing posts, and updating/sharing profiles. Built the frontend with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and used Firebase for hosting and backend support.

January 1, 2025 - April 1, 2025
Developed a web application with a team of three that enables users to share food knowledge related to their health conditions. Users can post images and descriptions of foods, browse existing posts, and update/share their profiles. The application used Firebase for hosting and backend support, while the front end was built with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to provide an accessible, user-focused experience.
Team Project - Nutr i-Guard Food Knowledge Web App at BCIT Team Project 1
January 1, 2025 - April 1, 2025
With a three-person team, I contributed to a web application designed to help users share food knowledge tied to health conditions. The app lets users post images and descriptions of foods, browse posts, and update/share their profiles. The project focused on delivering a simple, usable flow for creating and discovering content, with Firebase used for hosting and backend support.

In a team of three, I contributed to a knowledge-sharing web application focused on foods that may help users with their health conditions. The platform supports posting images and descriptions, browsing shared posts, and updating user profiles. We used Firebase for hosting and implemented the frontend experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, focusing on usability for everyday users.
