I’m Suhan Sürmeli, a film maker based in Istanbul, where I work across music videos, experimental film, and poetry with a documentary-driven, multidisciplinary approach. Under my artistic name Suhan Lalet tayin, I continuously explore how image, sound, and text can shift together—pushing the boundaries of each medium while staying rooted in real observation.
I direct and edit projects ranging from music videos and short documentaries to video-poems and experimental series, often collaborating with artists, musicians, and production teams. Alongside filmmaking, I also write and create poetry books and contribute to curated poetry anthologies—building stories that move between screen and page, sound and language.
