Computer Vision Research Intern at Heinrich Heine University - Düsseldorf

Built an end-to-end generative image-to-image translation pipeline in Python and PyTorch using the ACDC dataset, benchmarking GAN, diffusion, and vision-language model architectures under adverse weather conditions. Designed a custom CNN architecture with CLIP integration for semantic guidance that outperformed baselines across FID, SSIM, and LPIPS. Developed a custom GAN architecture tailored to the target dataset, achieving better results than competing approaches on evaluation metrics. Implemented scalable data preprocessing to enable automated multi-dataset experimentation and reproducible cross-model comparisons.
