Med is a filmmaker, cinematographer, producer, and photographer based in Frankfurt, Germany. He has over ten years of experience working as a freelance photojournalist and videographer for international organizations and media outlets, including Agence France- Presse (AFP), BBC, Al Jazeera Documentary Channel, the United Nations, Al Arabiya, DMI, Goethe-Institut, and GIZ.
He is also a co-founder of the Tiranim Center for Popular Arts in Nouakchott. As a
cinematographer, editor, and producer, Med has contributed to several award-winning films,
bringing extensive experience in visual storytelling, documentary filmmaking, and
photography.
