I am Alberto Ojeda, a UX/UI designer with over 20 years of experience and a strong background in graphic design, branding, and digital products. Originally from Mallorca and currently based in Barcelona, I have built my career across a wide range of industries, developing a versatile profile and a broad understanding of design across both digital and physical touchpoints. Throughout my career, I have worked closely with brands, marketing teams, developers, print and production partners, and other specialists across both digital and offline projects. This cross-functional experience has given me a comprehensive understanding of the entire design process and allows me to move comfortably between creative direction, design execution, collaboration, and implementation. For more than six years, I served as Head of Design at eMascaró, a creative agency in Barcelona, where I led a team of five designers while remaining actively involved in the hands-on development of branding, web design, UI, and digital experience projects. I have extensive experience in the hospitality, healthcare, and leisure sectors, working closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams to translate business needs into clear, engaging, and effective visual and digital solutions. I am used to managing multiple projects simultaneously, setting priorities, coordinating teams, and meeting demanding deadlines while maintaining a strong focus on quality, objectives, and the efficient use of resources. I am equally comfortable leading and mentoring designers or being directly involved in the creative and design process. AI has also become an increasingly important part of my workflow. I use it not only for visual generation, including images, vectors, and video, but also to improve and automate design and production processes. I work with AI-powered workflows, custom skills and agents, process automation, documentation, and handoff systems to streamline secondary tasks and allow more time to be focused on higher-value creative and strategic work. My experience across different disciplines and industries has given me a broad perspective on design and a high level of adaptability, which I consider one of my greatest strengths: the ability to quickly understand a project, identify what it needs, and translate those needs into clear, engaging, functional, and visually strong solutions.
