    paper She Who Breathes Between Shards

    This animated artwork is inspired by the myth of Isis — a symbol of rebirth, restoration, and the sacred journey from separation to wholeness. Drawn to her mythic role as a healer of what is broken, I explored the idea of fragmentation not as an end, but as a necessary stage on the path to integration.
    The piece features a digitally animated image placed within a real-life environment, merging tangible materials with digital motion to reflect the theme of convergence. Shards of a broken crystal float and reassemble under Isis’s touch, each glowing with memory, mystery, and potential.
    By blending animation with physical space, I wanted to evoke the sensation of something ancient and eternal being reawakened in the present. At its core, this work is a meditation on the power of unity, transformation, and the quiet strength found in restoration.
