Film Composer | Background Score Artist | Emotion-Driven Sound Architect
I’m Gavaskar Avinash, an Indian film music composer with a deep love for crafting stories through sound. I specialize in background scores and original themes that carry emotion, tension, and atmosphere — especially in darker, psychological, or intense narratives.
My recent work includes the original score for The Smile Man, a crime thriller where I built a sonic world rooted in mood, suspense, and silence. My approach is simple: let the music feel like a character, not just a backdrop.
I come from an engineering background, but in 2017 I made the full leap into music — trusting my instinct and calling. Since then, I’ve worked with filmmakers, scored feature films, and developed a distinct sound that’s slowly earning its space in the industry.
Right now, I’m open to collaborations on:
Feature films & OTT series (especially thriller, crime, emotional drama)
Short films and debut directors looking for a powerful score
Experimental music or sound-based storytelling
Background scores that speak more than words
If my sound aligns with your story, I’d love to connect.
