Hello, I'm Michalis Bouris, a cinematographer and visual storyteller based in Athens, with roots in Thessaloniki. Since 1989 I have worked across cinema, television, and theatre, starting as an assistant cameraman and gradually progressing to director of photography on numerous short and feature films, with extensive experience in lighting design and post-production. In 1994 I co-founded GouaStudio, a collective of artists focused on image production; I have led graphic design, motion graphics, and post-production for a wide range of projects. I also design lighting for theatre and public art installations and contribute editorial graphics and motion design for TV and online platforms.
