Hi, I'm Valeria Morgante, an illustrator originally from Italy with strong Mexican roots. I graduated with a degree in Children’s Illustration from the Istituto Europeo di Design in Milan, and after gaining diverse work experience, I moved to Mexico in 2009 to reconnect with my heritage. Since 2015, I've been working as an independent illustrator, focusing mainly on traditional techniques like watercolor and acrylics, but also incorporating some digital work. I've collaborated on medium-scale mural projects, developed my own creations for products like bags and notebooks, and recently started exploring the tattoo world with my original character "Gatonube." As an illustrator, my job is to provide designs, sketches, illustrations,drawings,graphic solutions to fulfill my customer's requests. I do also work on personal projects such as small illustrated tales, character design, tattoo design(i'm a tattoo artist too!),development of hand made toys taken from my designs and marketing appliances such as tote bags, notebooks, etc. I normally use traditional techniques for my illustrations and use also digital softwares depending on the project.
