I'm Monwabisi Mshumpela, a Johannesburg-based audio engineer and music producer with a hands-on, collaborative approach to recording, mixing, and mastering. I started using Pro Tools in 2022 and have since produced and released my own EP, The Statement, featuring seven original songs, and mixed tracks on the MSO M Prequel Mixtape for clients. I enjoy taking a project from setup through to final mastering, and I’m comfortable working in both studio and live environments. In addition to studio work, I’ve set up sound for live events, managed microphone placement, signal flow, and output levels to deliver high-quality sound experiences, and I contributed to radio ad production using Pro Tools.
