CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:
-Recording Engineer and drummer on Phoenix’s Bankrupt! album, which won Rock Album of the Year at the 2014 Victoires de la Musique, the French equivalent to the Grammys.
-Built a lasting professional relationship with Phoenix, which led to my role as Playback Operator on their world tours, ensuring optimal sound for high-profile performances including headlining Coachella and appearing on Saturday Night Live.
CREATIVE WORK & COLLABORATIONS:
-Composed, engineered, and produced all releases for my solo project, Beastie Vee, using Pro Tools in both professional and home studio environments
-Opened for Phoenix, Sunflower Bean, Mac DeMarco, and Juan Wauters, building custom Ableton sessions that integrated playback and synchronized lighting via Emu software
-Produced all Beastie Vee music videos, including collaborations with filmmaker Andrew Gibson, using a variety of tools from iPhone and camcorder to Super 8 camera. Familiar with editing in Final Cut Pro
-Performed as studio drummer for British artist Kindness on Anyone Can Fall in Love and Gee Up, for Phoenix on Bankrupt!, and for Tall Juan on his debut album Olden Goldies. Played live drums for Tall Juan and Juan Wauters during their 2016 European and US tours
