Hi! My name is Breanna Subject, and I’m a Technical Artist with a focus in 3D. I’ve always loved video games, ever since I was young playing the Sims 2 on my aunt’s laptop. Going through high school, I found my love of coding, learning C++ in my computer science class while making video games in Visual Studio Code with pixel art I created in Clip Studio. That made applying to Fanshawe College Video Game Design a no brainer. Throughout my time at Fanshawe, I both gained and strengthened skills. I have learned a range of software, including Zbrush, 3DS Max, Photoshop and Substance Painter, as well as strengthened my Unity knowledge that I gained before joining the program. Through self-initiated learning, with help from classmates, teachers and a few YouTube tutorials, I have also learned Blender and Substance Designer. Throughout the program I have solidified my time management, communication and teamwork skills, which came from my years working as a dishwasher, and were further solidified by my time as a Code Sensei at Code Ninjas.
