I am Periklis Liakakis, a composer and musician originally from Athens, Greece, currently based in Vienna, Austria. Since completing my master's degree in classical composition at the University of Music and Dramatic Arts in Vienna, I have been teaching Harmony, Counterpoint, and Composition, while also pursuing my passion for creating diverse musical works that blend orchestral, electronic, and pop/rock styles. My unique approach comes from combining traditional musical elements with modern sound design techniques often used in film and stage productions. Over the years, I have composed for chamber operas, short films, animations, documentaries, and video games, including collaborations with the Greek video game team Happyland Games. My works have been showcased in international festivals and have received awards and nominations for their originality and artistic quality. I'm excited to continue pushing the boundaries of musical storytelling through various media.
