“Miles Away” holds a special place in my heart due to its nostalgic melody and emotional chord progression. Even though my mixing skills were still developing during its creation, the songwriting was strong and resonated with listeners. The heartfelt performance by Madi and the melodic arrangement made it stand out. The track accumulated 5,000+ streams across all platforms and remains one of my personal favorites to this day.

With “Take Flight,” I aimed to break out of my usual sound and explore a more experimental approach in the Trap genre. After crafting the instrumental with a fresh mindset, I sent it to vocalist Benja, who delivered an incredible vocal performance that elevated the track. The result was a bold, high-energy song that showcased my growth as a producer and willingness to take creative risks.

This track went through three distinct versions during production — starting as a Progressive House piece, then evolving into a House track, and finally taking shape as a Future Bass release. Alex Hackett’s powerful songwriting and vocals played a crucial role in bringing the emotion of the song to life. The original length was just over 3 minutes, but I believed the track’s true beauty emerged in its extended 4-minute version — a creative decision that Alex fully supported. At the time, I didn’t have access to a professional studio, so I relied on tutorials and self-learning to handle the mix and master. Despite these limitations, the track was signed by the Spanish label Different Records and released in 2022, gaining over 10,000+ streams across platforms.
