I’ve been working as a freelance filmmaker for several years, directing short films and building stories from the ground up. A lot of my work has been hands on. I’ve written scripts, directed talent, and overseen everything from pre-production through post. I’ve also worked as a producer/editor for TV, where I managed crews, coordinated shoots, and ensured projects stayed on schedule and within budget. I’ve also produced a number of mini-documentaries, which really helped shape my ability to capture authentic stories and adapt quickly in the field. Those projects taught me how to balance creative storytelling with practical production needs, whether that’s managing interviews, shooting B roll, or editing a final cut that feels cinematic but real.
