I was asked to record and produce a live session for BoWenHye. The plan was to capture a live recording of his recently released singles ‘Alive’ and ‘Down’. The session took place in Live Room 1 at BIMM Berlin, chosen specifically for its spacious acoustics, which contributed to the desired ambient character of the drum sound. Both tracks were performed and recorded in a single continuous take to preserve the energy and authenticity of the performance. The session was simultaneously filmed by a videographer, and all audio was captured and monitored using a fully digital Midas M32 Live mixing console.

The recorded material was mixed and mastered by myself in February 2025 and later got released on 11th of April 2025 where I got credited.

Slow Boris is a collaborative band project formed by myself, Kajsa Hansson, Isak Bagner-Andréason, Huu Duc Tran, and Leo Hoffmeister. We’ve been writing and performing music together since 2022, brought together by shared musical influences and a creative connection.

Following the release of our debut single in 2023, we spent the following year developing our first EP, which was recorded between the end of December 2023 to July 2024. ‘Livestreaming Poet’ is a blend of full ensemble recordings in Studio 1 to overdubs and experimenting in our home studios.
