Hi, I’m William Myers, a BA (Hons) Illustration for Communication graduate and an enthusiastic illustrator seeking a position in the creative industry. Over the last four years I’ve developed a portfolio of fictional scenarios across character development, perspective drawings, moving type, typography experimentation, comics and concept art, with a focus on retro and pop-culture influences such as rubber‑hose and mid‑century comic styles. I’m proficient with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office, and I normally produce work in Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects and Premiere Pro to achieve artistic, humorous and retro aesthetics. I’m a keen learner who enjoys picking up new creative skills as well as exploring advertising, branding and marketing. I value collaboration with both new and experienced colleagues and have experience working with finance directors and senior managers during internships to gather competitive data and branding insights. I believe collaboration and research-driven experimentation are essential to delivering strong creative outcomes.
