Hi, I’m Liz Baxmeyer, a passionate musician, songwriter, sound designer, and educator based in Sacramento. With a rich background in music composition and sound design, I love creating immersive audio experiences that blend storytelling and sonic artistry. I currently lecture in humanities and social sciences at California Northstate University and actively produce engaging podcasts and sound projects.
Beyond academia, I’ve performed extensively as a folk singer and singer-songwriter and recording artist across the US and UK and composed songs and fully orchestrated soundtrack music for children’s plays, as well as other dramas. I also create workshops for various age groups and collaborate on interdisciplinary art installations. I’m always eager to connect with others who share a love for creative research and innovative audio storytelling.
