I am a recent graduate from The Evergreen State College, where I studied audio production and music to help develop a career in audio engineering. Throughout my four years at Evergreen, I involved myself in classes that focused on electronics, production, mixing, mastering, history, and performance. Some equipment I used to learn include the 32 Channel Rupert Neve Designs 5088, API 1608 console, and Yamaha o2r 26. I am comfortable with patchbays and have experience adapting to different studios and layouts. In my last quarter at Evergreen I recorded artists and bands in a multi-room studio environment for ten weeks. This helped me further develop my skills in both solo and ensemble recording. In addition to working with audio I have worked as the Grounds Lead for The Evergreen State College for the past three years. In this position I have developed strong leadership skills, managed coworkers and equipment, and have helped in purchasing decisions for large scale projects. I have also helped assist in the hiring process by interviewing applicants. These experiences have helped my abilities in collaborative problem solving, working under pressure and communicating effectively. These skills transfer directly to working in live sound and studio environments. I love working with audio and I strive to achieve the highest quality possible for every project I am a part of. I take pride in being dependable, easy to work with, and can quickly learn new workflows and tools. I look forward to bringing my enthusiasm, motivation to contribute, and skills I have acquired to your team. For further details, my resume contains additional information about my skills and experience. I am also open to relocation Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to speaking with you. Sincerely, Scott Larson
