Michael Moricz

I am a dynamic music director, composer and arranger with extensive experience in orchestration, conducting, and the use of recording technologies. Over the years, I have developed a strong background working with symphony orchestras, musical theatre, ballet, and television media. My passion lies in enhancing musical productions across various platforms through innovative compositions and collaborative leadership.

I have been fortunate to conduct prestigious orchestras and ballet companies, including performances at Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center. I am skilled in ProTools, with over 30 years of studio experience, and I thrive in fostering creative environments that contribute to successful and memorable performances.

I’ve created custom arrangements for such performing artists as Renee Fleming, Sleeping at Last, Tommy Tune, Tank & the Bangas, Chita Rivera, Alli Mauzey, Ashley Brown, the Nederlander Organization, the Broadway League and many others.

I’ve. composed original music for programs on the Fox, Showtime, Disney, Learning Channel and History Channel networks. I’ve also written a lot of theater music and songs for various projects, in collaboration with lyricists Jack Murphy, Timothy Mathis, Masi Asare, Eduard Machado, Tomé Cousin, Lynne Taylor-Corbett and others.
