About
Hi, I’m Bart Thiede, a passionate musical director, choral conductor, singer, and composer based in Oxford, UK. Over the years, I’ve had the incredible opportunity to work with prestigious ensembles, direct music across various theatrical and concert productions, and compose original works. Currently, I serve as Musician-in-Residence to the Bavarian Royal Family, alongside a vibrant freelance career where I perform as a tenor and organist, and lead various musical projects.
My experience spans directing choirs for cathedral services, musical theatre productions, and working with professional orchestras and broadcasters like the BBC and RTÉ. I enjoy creating fresh musical arrangements, nurturing choral developments, and bringing stories to life through music. I’m always eager to collaborate and contribute to inspiring musical experiences.
